As you may know, San Jose Fashion Week are the executive producers and major sponsors for the American Red Cross Silicon Valley Chapter Wearable Arts Fashion Event, to help celebrate the 2010 ARC Annual Heroes Celebration. That Look Models are proud to be sponsors and participants of this special event.
Our team from TLM and SJFW will consist of 25 members, and we have spent months setting this up. Elizabeth, Catalina and Kelly have been doing a fantastic job of scheduling and planning for this event. They have been working with Bobbie Lopez & Carrie Drake of the American Red Cross, Craig of The Academy for Salon Professionals and James of Salon Blu. It appears that we may be getting some hairstylist (2) from Lilies Hair Studios, courtesy of Selina Lilies.
This is a high profile Black Tie Formal Event, with plenty of Paparazzi and Red Carpet opportunities for great PR and images for our models' portfolios. Be sure to check in with the SJFW DP of Photography, Stephanie, to get an outline of where the photogs will be stationed.
Also remember, this may be a low light situation on the runway, so allow extra time in your poses so the photographers can get sharp images. There will be Celebrities there, so be sure to take shots with them at the SJFW / That Look Models backdrop.
Television and press media will be on hand so be ready to show your best. We have requested a list of the television and press media that will be there that we hadn't already supplied. We need the models to be seen and interviewed, two at a time would work out well.
Let's Rock!
